Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor in the state of Illinois. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana, being able to provide telehealth services to individuals residing in Indiana. Stephanie earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University. She completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling, with a focus in Addictions Studies, from Lewis University.
Stephanie uses a flexible approach to therapy, which includes a client centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and rational emotive behavioral (REBT) orientation. She understands that a non-judgmental and genuine therapeutic relationship is important to the therapy process. Stephanie has worked with a variety of clients and has previously held a position as a Mental Health Counselor with Family Guidance Centers, Inc., assisting clients struggling with opioid use, legal involvement such as Probation/Parole, or that have been involved with Drug Court programming in Will County. She has also spent a brief time working for the Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates.
